“Rediscovering Civil Religion in America” TEDx Tufts talk

This last March I had the honor of giving a TEDx talk at Tufts University. My talk, “Rediscovering Civil Religion in America,” offers some thoughts on the value of a deeply felt, though diffuse belief in American values and symbols. I suggest that even when times get tough–even when our leaders seem to forget the textual and symbolic Constitutions–the American people are more than ready to pick up the slack.
